Lake Ohrid is one of the oldest and deepest lakes in Europe, shared between Albania and North Macedonia and protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Pogradec is the main town on the Albanian shore.
Life here is slow and lakeside: swimming from small beaches, fish dinners by the water, and the clear springs at Drilon where the lake is fed.
